History of Lacombe Pride Zine

Throughout the summer of 2024, I worked with the Lacombe Pride Society on summarizing their history. I chose a "zine" format due to its long history in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, as well as with other alternative cultures, like punk and fandom. Zines allow for information to spread quickly and are digestible due to how short they are. They're also really fun to make! I used the Electric Zine Maker to create this. For this zine, I used information from news articles and from conversations with Jonathan Luscombe from the Lacombe Pride Society. There was so much that I wanted to put in this zine that I ended up cutting, but I anticipate making many more in the future.
